SAINT VALENTINE'S CONNECTION WITH DUBLIN
Dublin is the final resting place of Saint Valentine, the saint who has given his name to the most romantic day of the year. The relics of Saint Valentine rest in Whitefriar Street in Dublin, a Roman Catholic Carmelite Church in Dublin.
The relics of Saint Valentine, which were donated to the church in Dublin in the 19th century by Pope Gregory XVI from their previous location in the cemetery of St. Hippolytus in Rome.
